Community

We at Colonial Jewelers have a strong commitment to serving the Frederick community in various ways. We believe it is our duty to give back to the community that has supported us over the past 60 years.

We support many local charities through monetary and in-kind donations, and by serving on various boards of directors for non-profits in our community.

In 1999, Jeff and Patty Hurwitz established the Hurwitz Breast Cancer Fund and have actively worked through Colonial Jewelers to raise money for this fund at Frederick Memorial Hospital. The annual Pink Ribbon Gala and Breakfast at Tiffany’s events are the two major fundraisers for this cause.
