Hello, I am Selbym, I am from Florida, and have been in the Jewelry Industry 27 years. I can honestly say I LOVE what I do. My favorite part of my job is meeting with customers. I enjoy developing a relationship which allows me to find the perfect piece of jewelry for their special occasions. , Whether it is a bridal engagement ring, a “new baby” gift, anniversary, birthday, or just because… I am thrilled to see their face light up with a smile… Each piece of jewelry represents a very special memory in their lives. It is always a very rewarding experience for me knowing I was part of that moment in their lives. My love for Diamonds and Gemstones has been an ongoing lifetime fascination. I got my Diamonds Graduate Certificate from The Gemological Institute of America (GIA). I am also certified by The Diamond Council of America (DCA) on Diamonds and Color Gems, as well as having extensive training on AGS Certified diamonds through the American Gem Society. Selling jewelry has never been more fun for me than now. Thanks to new technology, manufacturing techniques and diamond cutting are a constant evolution. Today jewelry is more fun, unique, colorful, and bridal jewelry is more intricate. We also have more choices of metals! I literally learn something new every day. There is nothing more exciting for me than to share it with my customers. I look forward to bringing my personal experience, along with the Colonial Jewelers family traditions to our customers, offering the upmost professional shopping experience they deserve. I am blessed to be part of the Colonial Jewelers Team, and continuing the Hurwitz family legacy in our beautiful Frederick has been a dream come true!
