Hi! I’m Jenny and I joined Colonial right before the busy holiday season in 2011. I was raised outside of the Frederick area on my family’s horse farm and then moved to beautiful downtown eight years ago. After pursuing a career in hospitality and running a busy local restaurant downtown, I decided that the demanding and late hours weren’t for me. I took time off from work and went back to school to pursue my degree in Business. Soon after making this change, a bottle of wine and a few Jack Johnson songs later, my amazing boyfriend proposed to me one evening at “our spot” near the bell tower in Baker Park. Working at Colonial, I get to see a lot of gorgeous jewelry, but I find myself everyday admiring my radiant solitaire given to me by my hubby. When not working or in school , I enjoy the simple things in life like taking a stroll through downtown with our pup, admiring the Christmas lights strung on Market Street for the holidays, or finding my center while baking a good batch of cupcakes. It is so great to work not only at a small business but such a family oriented one as well.
