Charles

Hi! I’m Charles, and I’m STILL here!!! I got married on Sept. 7, 1968 to my wife Linda, and I started working at Colonial Jewelers 6 days later. I’m glad to say it was my first wife and my first job, and I’ve had both of them ever since! (How many people can say that?)

I started at Colonial as an assistant manager, meaning I did a bit of everything. I went on to get my training in Colored Gemstone Grading and took several Bench Jeweler courses. I had a goldsmith shop in my basement for 20 years, where I did many of Colonial’s repairs. I’ve been the office manager for25 years.

I’m proud to say I have worked for three generations of the Hurwitz family over the last 43 years. Colonial Jewelers is my home away from home.
