Winter Wonderland
November 25, 2011 By Admin No CommentsThe wind is starting to chill, the fires are starting to roar, the holidays are right around the corner and pretty soon all of that silver sparkle and crystal white stuff will be swirling around….. and I’m not just referring to snow. That’s right ladies and gentlemen I am talking about diamonds! Tis’ the season, and what better way to spread holiday cheer than with beautiful sparkly diamonds. Diamonds mimic the icy glamour of winter perfectly, and with all of those holiday parties and family get-togethers they make great statement pieces. Even if you are not quite ready to make an investment in some diamond jewelry, my go-to tip for the season is GLITTER GLITTER GLITTER! Some great alternatives to diamonds are moissanite, cubic zirconium, white sapphires, and white topaz. Don’t be afraid of too much sparkle and shine. In my opinion, the best part about the holidays is all of the sparkly fashions, and why not complete the look with some serious winter wonderful bling! My best fashion tips on how to pull this look off successfully without looking like a Christmas tree exploded on you is to find your balance. If you wear a sparkly top or something with an embellished neckline, opt for some glamorous earrings and skip the necklace. The earrings will add some extra fabulous without competing with your top. If you opt for a more subtle look with your clothes, than try a long layered necklace and maybe some short stud earrings to add a little icing to your look. As far as your color palate, metallic colors such as silver, gold, and bronze can totally apply. You can also go with your classic black, grey, and winter white. Just add some faux fur, fun tights, and fabulous boots and your ready to rock your holiday season!
