Into the Wild!! Rustic looks for Fall
November 8, 2011 By Admin No Comments
The colors are changing, the leaves are falling, the weather is getting cooler, which means it is time for some new fall fashions to start trending! Some of you might ask, “So what is the fashion 411 in the jewelry world this season?” Well my fabulously fashionable friends, wild is the word. This Fall I am seeing a lot of pieces inspired by beautiful Mother Nature herself.
Imagine you are walking on a moss covereddirt path through a thick green forest. You stop to look around, and what do you see? Some gnarly branches, rough bark on a tree, leaves of all shapes and sizes, a bird flying out of its nest, lush greens, browns, ambers, yellows and reds. This is the same kind of beauty has recently inspired some of our favorite jewelers who often set the bar for what’s hot and what’s not for the realm of fashion.
Fantastic feathered earrings, bark textured bands, chocolate and black diamonds, animal inspired pieces, all revolving around the enchantment that lives in our parks, and sometimes even our own back yards. The best part about woodland inspired pieces is that they mesh perfectly with your fall wardrobe! The neutral color palette allows for plenty of mixing and matching. Whether your fall colors revolve around browns, tans, and golds, or bright rich gem tones such as ruby red, sapphire blue, and emerald green you will be able to find some accessories that are a perfect fit for your look.
We have even jumped on the band wagon with this recent rustic trend here at Colonial Jewelers. We are now currently offering a great selection of chocolate diamond jewelry as well as black diamond jewelry. Several pieces have a fun bark finish which can make a traditional piece look very fashion forward. We are also offering more naturally beautiful, rough stones such as sodalite, chrysoberry, and of course some beautiful turquoise pieces which always pop with a lot of the neutral colors we often see in fall clothing.
So whether you are mixing feathers and fur or textured bands and tweed, be sure to stop on in at Colonial Jewelers to check out our latest pieces to find your next fashion statement!!
