Jeff Hurwitz

President / Graduate Gemologist

Jeffrey is the President of Colonial Jewelers.  From his earliest memories, he wanted to become a jeweler like his dad. After graduating with a business degree from James Madison University, he went on to receive a Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemology Institute of America. He, along with his wife, Patty, owns and operates Colonial Jewelers. Jeff is responsible for diamond buying and oversees the daily operations of the business. Jeff is a life member of the GIA Alumni Association, a Certified Gemologist with the American Gem Society. He also is a member of the Jewelers Information Council and the Accredited Gemologists Association.
